For my essay I think I am going to write about my high school’s football coach. He gets a lot of hate from a lot of parents, because of the wins and losses, but what they don’t see is what he does for each one of his students and players. My high school football team was average at best, but what he taught me during my time playing for him, is something that I will remember for the rest of my life. I think the greatest argument for wanting the coach to be fired is the amount of wins and losses he has. This past year the team had 3 wins and 8 losses, but the amount of life lessons he teaches each of his players are something that wins and losses can’t compete with. During my time I learned a lot about work ethic, hard work, relationships, and much much more. These are stuff that I will forever be grateful for, and even after football season was over, I could still count on him to help me with whatever I needed. My coach has shaped me into the person that I am today, and I will forever remember the time that I played for him.
