9/24

This weekend I took a trip up to Purdue, to hang out with some of my friends. On Saturday we went to the football game. Ross-Ade Stadium was electric. This weekend was Purdue’s homecoming, so naturally there were a lot of people present at this game. Purdue was taking on ranked opponent Boston College. Purdue was off to a slow start this year, and people were nervous going into this game, but from start to end, the atmosphere was incredible. Everywhere you looked all you saw was black and gold and the big “P” on people’s shirts. The game started off hot with the kickoff and everyone in the student section chanting, “IU sucks.” This will be game I never forget, because of the energy of the stadium. I believe that the fans gave the Purdue football team the boost they needed to get back on track. With the fans cheering as loud as they could it brought all of the energy to the team, and it showed with not only a win, but a dominating one at that. Ross-Ade stadium was beautiful, from the giant scoreboard to the actual field. Purdue actually has a grass field, but with how well it is taken care of, it looks like a turf field.
