I think the greatest use of persuasion in my ad is pathos. The way I see the ad, is that Gatorade is showing that they are dominant to all types of sports drinks, whether it be water, as shown in the ad, or Powerade, their greatest competitor. To me, I feel like Gatorade is the superior sports drinks, and it brings out pathos by showing me the Gatorade bottle standing over the knocked out water bottle. It is showing me the confidence that Gatorade has in themselves to not only make a good drink, but then to show themselves as the greatest company to make these sports drinks
I think one form of logos used in the ad, is the “Gatorade Always Wins,” in the top left corner of the ad. When you see this, you might ask yourself, do they really always win? So you might do some research and you will find, they do in fact always win, meaning that they sell more than their competitors.
Finally, I think the Ethos in this ad is just the brand themself. Everyone has heard of Gatorade and knows who it is, and the way that this ad is presenting themselves, it makes you think that Gatorade is the greatest sports drink, because nobody can compete with them.
