This essay to me was surprisingly fun. Going into it I didn’t see myself liking this essay very much, but the more we learned in class, the more interested I got into doing this essay. I think the best part for me, was taking what we learned it class, and then taking it and applying it to my essay. I didn’t really find anything about this essay unfun, besides the beginning of the assignment, where I had to find an ad to write about. There were a lot of ads that I wanted to write about, and the one I ultimately ended up using was one found in the Google Drive folder. I was dead set on doing the Kaepernick ad, but I was just exploring and ended up going into the folder, and ended up really liking the Gatorade boxing ad. i thought this ad included a lot of the qualities of a good ad that we talked about in class, and it ended up being really easy to talk about, and put into 1000 words. I think this assignment was positive and negative, because now I will catch myself seeing an ad, and fully analyzing it, instead of just enjoying it. Overall, I really enjoyed the assignment.
